Swimming Pool Opening
Homewood Leisure offers a pool opening service.
Two of our engineers will visit site and carry out the pool opening service in the spring which includes the following:
- Clean off the winter debris cover, fold up and put away into the store.
- Check the pool water levels and top up as required.
- Connect and switch on pump and filter to ensure all is operational. Confirm there are no leaks or damage to the pipework and connections.
- Uncover the heat pump and connect pipework. Test to ensure system is functional.
- Vacuuming any debris on the bottom of the pool.
- Add multi-functional algicide as required. Leave the pool on filtration. (Pump may be switched to timer if water is clear and balanced.)
- Check the pool water chemistry and add necessary water treatment products to correct chemistry levels.
- Take off the solar cover reflective winter storage and put into store.
- Clean the pool solar cover and install.
- Clean up around the pool before leaving.
The cost detailed above does not include chemicals which are extra.
Should problems be noted, additional visits may be required. Our engineers will bring to your attention any issues not deemed part of the pool opening package, along with options for resolution and costs.
